[Weifang,China]In mid-April, SUNRISES welcomed a delegation from a leading construction company in New Zealand to its Weifang manufacturing base. The visit focused on exploring cooperation opportunities for the procurement of double-wing expandable container houses, a fast-growing solution in the global modular construction market.
In mid-April 2026, representatives from a leading local construction company in New Zealand visited SUNRISES GROUP's modern modular building production base in Weifang, Shandong.
They had full-site inspection and business talks with our international sales, R&D and production teams. The discussion focused on large-quantity purchase of 2-wing expandable container houses, project implementation and long-term strategic cooperation in Oceania. This visit is an important milestone for both sides to strengthen mutual benefit and win-win development based on New Zealand market demand.

Accompanied by our core team, the New Zealand guests visited our automatic smart production workshop, 2-wing expandable container house display area, testing lab and green material warehouse. Our technical engineers explained the patented structure, automatic production and hydraulic expansion system clearly. We also showed and introduced key product performance: Class A fireproof, heat insulation, waterproof, wind-resistant, earthquake-resistant and noise reduction.

We specially introduced how our products meet New Zealand Building Code (NZBC) and Australian & New Zealand Standards (AS/NZS). Considering New Zealand's local conditions - high earthquake risk, strong coastal wind and large temperature difference, we explained our optimized design in structure load, durability and moisture protection. We also provided professional support on PTS documents, local certification and customs clearance. The guests highly praised our solutions.
As SUNRISES' flagship product, the 2-wing expandable container house has clear advantages: foldable for transport, fast expansion, double space and quick delivery. When folded, it fits standard shipping containers, greatly reducing transport cost. It can fully expand both wings in only 3 minutes, with usable space increased by over 200%. It can be used for living, office, business and other purposes.

The house is fully decorated with pre-installed electricity, water and bathroom systems. It can be used immediately after power connection. It is widely suitable for housing, worker camps, tourist homes and emergency shelters in New Zealand. This is the main reason why the New Zealand client chooses deep cooperation with us.

After the inspection, both sides held formal business talks. SUNRISES introduced company history, global market, overseas projects and full-service system for Oceania: design, certification, logistics, installation guidance and after-sales service. The New Zealand client shared local market experience and project plans. They confirmed that SUNRISES' production capacity, technology and quality control fully meet their needs, building a solid foundation for cooperation.

In the future, SUNRISES will keep improving product quality and service, follow building standards and market demands worldwide. We will work with global partners to provide high-quality, cost-effective modular building solutions and promote the healthy development of prefabricated building industry.
