What is a color steel rock wool sandwich panel?
Color steel rock wool sandwich panel is a new type of fireproof board made from natural ores such as basalt as the main raw material. It is processed by melting into fibers at high temperature and then adding binders for curing. Its rock wool core provides the product with Class A fire resistance, with a fire resistance time of up to 70 minutes, and it also has thermal insulation and sound insulation functions. The outer layer of the panel adopts color-coated steel plate, with thickness specifications ranging from 50mm to 150mm and effective widths including 950 type and 1150 type. The sides are reinforced with galvanized steel plates or unedged steel strips, making it suitable for building walls, industrial workshops, ship cabins, clean rooms and other scenarios.
The product includes two types: flat panels and corrugated panels. It adopts a concealed self-drilling screw connection process, with strength three times higher than that of ordinary sandwich panels and waterproof performance. Its core density reaches 120-150kg/m³, thermal conductivity ≤0.043W/m·K, and the temperature of thermal load shrinkage exceeds 600℃. Combined with the porous structure, it achieves sound absorption and noise reduction. Compared with sandwich panels such as polyurethane, its fire resistance is particularly prominent, making it the preferred material in fields such as fire isolation and industrial purification.
